The Sotar design makes removal of dried materials from the Needle Tip and Spray Regulator both easy and safe.

In additon, Sotar has provided an alternative Spray Regulator which features protective arms to safeguard the needle tip.

The patented paint tip Hold Down Ring helps lock the paint tip in place while permitting easy assembly and disassembly.

Die Micro-precise Paint Tips feature both a self centering and non-seal design. The tapered sides assure fast assembly and disassembly.

The Nozzle Head features a recessed tapered design to allow quick and easy assembly of the paint tip.

The Needle Collet is elongated for smoother needle movement.

The Trigger Tension Spring is adjustable from medium to light.

The Retaining Spring Screw allows you to custom adjust the trigger tension from medium to light, to suit your individual comfort.

The Chuck locks and unlocks the needle for quick and easy needle removal or insertion.

The open-ended cut-away Handle design allows easier needle removal. A micrometer reference mark is indicated on the handle.

The Collar with micrometer readings represents increments of one-thousandth of an inch for accurate needle settings.

The Trigger Set Screw may be adjusted for maximum or minimum trigger/needle movement and paint flow.

The Stainless Steel Needle has an elongated taper-to-tip point for fine line control. The moulded knob at the needle end makes needle removal without disassembly a breeze.

The Sotar 2020/1 has a Cast Paint Reservoir milled low and wide for easy paint mixing that is free of obstruction. The Sotar 2020/2 has a 3ml Paint Cup. The elongated body maintains an efficient distance between trigger and paint reservoir. The trigger and back lever assemble easily, thanks to our unique design. The shell of the 2020 includes a Teflon needle seal, which is impervious to solvents and paints and prevents material back-up. The needle seal has a lifetime warranty and will be replaced free at the factory if ever necessary.

The Trigger consists of only one piece for easy assembly and efficient "smoother rolling" action.

The Finger/Thumb Rest is ergonomically correct, with a concave shape for greater comfort/less fatigue. The finger rest may be removed if desired. An alternate rubber finger/thumb rest is also available.
