Airbrush Artist | Munich, Germany

Soziale Medien

My name is Ben Warmuth, I am 33 years old, originally from Munich, and I would like to introduce myself to you as an airbrush artist. During my training as a car painter in 2006, I became interested in the topic of airbrush.

At folk festivals and in magazines, I admired the work of colleagues and was amazed at what was possible with varnish.

I love painting and therefore bought a starter set with stencils and started to practise.

I quickly realised that airbrushing is a bit more difficult than it looks. The further training to become a master car painter (2013) has created the best conditions to advance this field.

With the successful completion of my master craftsman examination at the end of 2013, a commercial background, and growing talent, my motivation to expand BW-Airbrush and improve further grew within me. Bit by bit, I set up a small 12 square metre studio in the basement of my parents' house, where I initially practiced and painted for myself. With the registration of a side business, the first commissioned works gradually came in. I discovered freehand techniques and during this time tested a lot of colours and pistols, for when I was never satisfied as a perfectionist.

In my search for the ideal setup, I came across the Createx Workbook and discovered Createx and Iwata airbrushes for myself. I am particularly fond of the Illustration, Wicked, and Candy2o series. This brought new opportunities and a new level of quality. This has excited me ever since, and I make use of every free minute to improve. Networking and the exchange among airbrush colleagues is very important to me. I report via Facebook and Instagram  regularly about my projects and results.
